The short version
We collect nothing. Your data never leaves your phone.
The slightly longer version
What we collect: Nothing. WeightApp has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal data — not your weight entries, not your notes, not your device identifiers, not your usage patterns. We couldn't sell your data even if we wanted to, because we never have it.
Where your data lives: Every weight entry and note you create is stored in a local database on your device, and only there. Deleting the app deletes the data (use Export first if you want to keep it).
Export: You can export all of your data to a CSV file at any time from Settings. The file is yours; we never see it.
Purchases: The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive no payment details and no identity information from your purchase. Purchase state is verified on-device through the store's own receipt system.
Emails you send us: If you choose to contact us (support, or requesting a free unlock code), we receive your email address and whatever you write — because that's how email works. We use it only to reply, we never add you to any list, and we delete support threads after resolution.
Future backup feature: If a later version adds cloud backup, it will back up to your own iCloud or Google Drive storage, under your own account, encrypted in transit. Even then, we run no servers and never see your data. This policy will be updated before any such feature ships.
Children: WeightApp does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
Changes: If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and the change will be described in the app's release notes. The "we collect nothing" principle is the product; a version of this app that tracks you is not this app.
